• okay my xbox 360 got the 3 red ring of death. i tried doing the xclampfix but when i try to turn it on the fans just spins for a second and then its back to the red ring of death. what did i do wrong

  when you get the 3 rings of death, hold the sync button and press eject. it will change to a faster flashing with either 1, 2, 3, or 4 of the lights lit up. press the eject 3 more times and remember how many flashed each time. so for example 4 lights, 1 light, 4 lights, 2 lights. the 4 represents a 0 (think of a circle). this will tell you your secondary error code. the example i provided would be 0102. go to the website listed below and find your error code and click "details". this should give you a more detailed explanation of what is wrong with your xbox, as well as various things people have done to fix it. most of the solutions are also linked to tutorials for further explanation.
