Just how reliable is ebay?

Ebay is only as reliable as the seller. While most people are honest, there are some thieves/conmen out there. Ebay does have some policies in place to help protect both the buyer and seller in case a deal goes bad. Another site I've used for buying used games is Glyde (glyde.com) When you buy a game from Glyde, they hold your money and send an envelope to the seller. The seller simply puts your game in the envelope and drops it in the mailbox. The game is then delivered to you. Once you receive the game, you tell Glyde it arrived and is OK. At this time the seller receives the money. (you have up to 10 days after the game is delivered to inform Glyde if there was any obvious problem with the game.) It's also equally easy to sell games through Glyde. You simply list the games you want to sell, and determine a price for them. If a game of yours sells, you get an email informing you of this and they've mailed you the envelope. Once again, you just put the game into the envelope and mail it.
