Madden 12/NCAA 12 Xbox Question?

• I have more recently been watching more football and started playing my old Madden 08 game and have really been enjoying it. I have also watched a little (a little) bit of college ball. I know i would like too get one of the games for Christmas.People say that NCAA is better game and better superstar/rookie mode.( Which i really like) but i don't know anything about college football. I know this is a bit of a confusing question but if you could time to tell me a little about the game and if you need to be into college football to really enjoy it.   I played the college basketball games before and gameplay wise it was the same as nba but when you start getting into ncaa seasons and playoffs its a pain in the ***. Plus if you like superstar mode madden gives you more room since you can get over 10 seasons of play. Ncaa is 4 then graduate.
