My regular xobx(not 360) is blinking red. What do i do?

Should I buy an xbox 360 now or wait until xbox 720 comes out?

• I was planning to buy xbox 360 during christmas for past 4 or 5 months ago. I already own ps3 currently and im enjoying it. But for playing xbox 360 exclusive games like halo, gears, fable, forza, crackdown etc.., im planning to get 360. But for past 2 months rumors about xbox 720 are keep on coming. xbox director have already hinted that xbox 360 and 720 may overlap. Though MS gave 10 yr lifespan for 360 that doesnt mean that they wont overlap. Many game developers have stated that they are working on next gen games this came from EA, crytek. Crytek had said that xbox 720 will release during 2012 end . During 2011 March MS hired lot emplyees for developing next gen console. During November they many rumors came stating next xbox as xbox 10, xbox loop, project 10 etc.. The time between each gen will be 5-6 years . The time between xbox and xbox 360 was 4 years even if they launch xbx 720 during 2012 the time between 360 and 720 will be 7 years . Also another rumour is that MS will unevil xbox 720 during CES January . Though MS have stated that "rumors cant be answered". rumours wont be keep on coming everyday about the samething. What i think is MS dont want xbox 360 sales to be affected as of now. As soon as sony launched ps3 they significantly reduced ps2's price which boosted ps2's sales so 360 sales wont decline if they reduce its price after 720's launch. BIG companies like Dice who developed Battlefield 3 have said the limitations of current gen consoles like less ram and outdated gpu. THQ , ubisoft also said they need next generation consoles to develop better games. Wii U is already announced which builds pressure for MS and sony . As for as now rumours about ps4 are low when compared to MS. But sony said that they will release ps4 at the same time of xbox 720 to gain equal advantage in the competition. My guess is that if MS release xbox 720 next year sony will also do the same. PS. I already have ps3 so if they are going to launch xbox 720 next year i will rather wait and buy xbox 720. So if im buying 360 now and suppose MS releases 720 next year i dont think my dad will buy xbox 720 next year. So tell me your opinions

  don't waste your money, wait till next year E3 . there is 80% chance that the xbox720 will be realease in 2012 or 2013.
