Why cant i connect to xbox live?

okay im connected to the router to the xbox ive been running it this way for a year and i moved rooms and it still worked it will connect to the internet and not xbl i dont know why any insight will help - furry and proud :3

i restarted my router and it still wouldn't let me sign in so i turned the xbox and got back on 30 minutes later and it let me sign with the new update.

The new update, they shutdown Xbox live for a bit don't worth it'll be back up soon :D
