How can i transfer data from my xbox 360 slim to a flash drive?

everytime i try to transfer data to a usb from my xbox it says that the data is on the usb but when i plug it in to my computer it says that there is no data on the usb. its getting annoying, any help would be great

The Xbox 360 data is stored in a hidden folder on the USB flash drive. Google "how to view hidden folders in [Insert operating system here]" You can't just get stuff off it though as it is stored in data cab files which are useless on a pc without the correct software.

That's because your XBOX uses a different format than your computer. You can only effectively transfer from XBOX to XBOX with the USB drive.
