What are the best AV cables for an Xbox 360 to a HDTV?

How come when I use my XBox 360 HD AV cables my screen goes black and white?

  • When I move the switch on the cord from TV to HDTV, my Xbox restarts, and the screen is in black and white. To my knowledge, all the cords are plugged-in correctly.     Ok well this is not uncommon and not even a problem. When you have your xbox running and you switch it it turns black or white and sometimes both. The proper way to do this is to turn off the xbox. switch it to HDTV then turn it on. It should be normal on HD and go to the setting and check your HDTV settingssee if everything is in place and make sure what your TV's maximum resolution is because some people put it on 1080p on a 1080i TV.
