How to allow xbox 360 through firewall?

How do i connect xbox 360 to window xp?

• My desktop runs on window xp sp2 wireless internet. my xbox 360 uses a wired internet. i was told that you can stream music and w.e by downloading window media player 11 and just have it detect it. Unfortunately it didn't work. i tried services and switch w.e to "automatic" and checked my firewall and went to the wireless properties and check the box that says "allow other computer or other devices to share connection" but that didnt work. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. thank you!

  you have to set it up on windows media player. The xbox or media player will give you a code. Set up in media player type in the code and connect.
