How to use xbox 360 controller on pc?
-
I recently got skyrim and I want to play with a 360 controller. I plug in my usb connected controller it auto detects the driver and I am ready to play. My controller goes on but it also turns on my xbox 360, and if i turn of my 360 it turns off the controller. I don't know how to just use it on pc without it auto detecting and turning on my xbox. Please help me!

Answer:
Unplug the 360 though it should only do that if you're using a wireless one and wireless controllers need the wireless gaming receiver to work on your computer. I hope you're not trying to use a Play and Charge cable to connect it since you said you plug in your USB connected controller. That will not work for connecting the wireless controller.
