When you setup Xbox LIVE with an ethernet cable, does the ethernet cable have to stay in your Xbox while playing on Xbox LIVE? Ex. Playing Halo 3 on Xbox LIVE

yes. think of it like a phone line. if you yank the cord from the wall in the middle of a call, you would lose the call, right? same concept. without a wireless adapter, the ethernet cable is how your console talks with the router.
