Hi, how does modded XBOX 360 get banned?

Will i get banned for having a modded xbox 360?

• I used to own nodded 360's for over a year so im not dumb and know the answer is yes. But what I want to know is, what if the xbox is modded but the games themselves are legit that I play. Do people get banned because Microsoft detects the 360? Or do they get banned when Microsoft detects the game is a copy?

  yup. Any form of modifying the internal software will get you banned. . Even if its to allow you to play more videos and not pirating. yes. Microsoft can identify your entire system. not just the disc loading. BUT!!!!! if your not online you're fine. but this is about banning. chances are you're using xboxlive so yeah you're screwed. It doesnt matter if you use the latest stealth patch/hack etc. they will always be able to update their detecting software since xboxlive is very very dedicated when it comes to online console gaming.
