How do I transfer files from my PC to my Xbox 360?

How to transfer XBOX 360 save files to PC?

  • Ok I'm REALLY getting aggrivated because nothing is working. Due to an issue with the weapon generating system on Borderlands (360) not generating weapons poweful enough for my characters level I need to mod one so I can actually beat the enemies... I've downloaded WillowTree and I have a 250gb harddrive with transfer cable... If you can provide DETAILED instuctions on where to download or what ever I need to do that would be godlike in my book. Im sorta good with tech crap but if you can write it as if i were a 4yr old that would produce the best results. All i need is to get from my 250gb hard drive to my pc which i have connected via transfer cable. Ive opened my computer but it only opens a blank file for my hard drive.

  • Answer:

Ok you will need a flash drive that has at least 1gb. of memory. plug it ito your xbox, then go to system settings, then memory, then select the flash drive it will give an option to format the flash drive select it, once it is complete, go your hardrive and copy your game save to the flash drive.then plug it into your pc. you will need a program called USB XTAF Xplorer. you can google it and find it pretty easy. install it then run it as the administrator, select file then open device, keep clicking on the top compilation of numbers and leters until you get to your save (Save0001.sav)then click extract, then open it with willow tree and you should be good.
