Recording XBOX 360 from PC monitor.

XBOX 360 connection to PC monitor, wanting to use turtle beach.?

  • So i bought the new MW3 xbox 360 which i attached to my desktop samsung monitor via HDMI and for sound the monitor has no speakers but an audio output in which i have plugged regular headphones into via 3.5mm jack. Iv'e had the idea of plugging in the audio output of the monitor into the line in of the desktop using 3.5mm jacks so that my desktop speakers will work for the xbox. But this is just an idea i hope will aid in the use of a PC turtle beach. Now the question is i want to get the PC turtle beach because i do a lot of PC gaming too i was wondering if anyone has any ideas of how i could make them work for the XBOX as well. This being said i have not bought any turtle beach yet but obviously going towards the PC/XBOX compatible one with a small price tag. I have no idea of how the turtle beach connects to the PC so any help would be great. Thanks :D

  • Answer:

Just plug in the long cable to the green jack on your computer. If you need the mic to work too, then you'll have to get a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm female/male adapter to plug into the pink jack on your computer. Hope I helped
