    Well if you mean by a cd then you can copy the songs to the Xbox. If you mean by iPod I touch ect. you can only listen you can't sync with it. To play music mp3 but to Actully put it in you need the cd

There are 3 different options: 1. Download Music from XBL Marketplace ( you must have some Microsoft Points) 2. Stream Music via Last.fm ( requires XBL Gold however) 3. Put a CD into the Hard Drive and rip/burn the CD to the Hard drive.

If you have a smart phone with a lot of music on it then just download the app "AirMusic" and it will sync into your xbox very easily.

Get a flash drive and plug it into a computer. than dowload music onto the flashdrive. put the flash drive into the xbox and it will work
