Why do I keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live?

OK. I just got Xbox Live. I play Xbox Live through a bridged connection on a laptop and frequently keep getting disconnected while online. I'm using an Ethernet cable. I'll be in a match on Halo REACH, and in the middle of it the screen will go black and the "searching for new host" message will show up, and after a few moments the match will abruptly end and the "Disconnected from Xbox Live" message will display. This keeps happening multiple times a day. Why? P.S. I checked my network status on Halo REACH, and it says that my NAT is open, and I also tried swapping out the Ethernet cable but I'm still having the same problem.

I had this problem too! You can call your Internet Company's tech support, or xbox lives's tech support. xbox tech support number is 1(800)4MY-XBOX.
