Why don't I get sound out of my Xbox?

Where can I get an Xbox 360 Headset/Microphone with High Sensitivity for Under $30?

• The mic that i have right now is a mad catz swivel headset i think which i got for $15. The only reason that I have it is because the sound pick-up is very high (sensitivity to sound is high)... For example, when I play at night i have to be quiet, and the mad catz picks up whispers unlike the standard xbox 360 headset for $20. Now i know i could get a turtle beech for like $50 dollars but i dont wanna spend that much. Also my brother just broke my mad catz mic, so im using the standard xbox 360 mic that came with the xbox, and I have to yell at night which wakes up my dad. -Sorry for the personal story, but thanks for the suggestions if any.

  Sorry I don't know much but I hope this helps. cyber monday and black friday look for offers, online or at stores. I'm using the standard one. I know the $50 one works very good. But under $30 not sure. get/save up for a good turtle beach (Try to not stress too much while playing) >:D well good Luck!
