How can you play 2 players in fifa 12 (xbox 360)?

I just a bought a new controller, so now i have 2 controllers and I don't know how to play 2 players in fifa whenever I use my new controller it doesn't even do anything but flash green lights again and again. Please help me!

You have to first connect the xbox 360 controller to the xbox, because it is flashing over and over again it means that it is trying to find a console to connect to. The best way to do this is, that if you have a play and charge kit, then to connect the xbox controller to the kit and then connect that to the xbox. There are also separate buttons on the console's front. On the slim it is just above the two front usb slots and on the original it is under the disc tray or the memory card slots. Hope this helps.
