Why won't my xbox 360 slime connect to xbox live if it did yesterday?

  • Yesterday I had connected my xbox slim and I was playing xbox live with some problems but not too much. I'm connected from a wifi that's around me. That's the one I have been using for a while for my lap top too. The internet on my laptop is fine but all of a sudden I can't connect. I turned on my xbox this morning and I was connected and once I got on my laptop It disconnected from xbox live and now I can't connect back. Do you guys know what the problem is? Please don't tell me to call xbox customer service because i'm not in the mood to talk to on of other representatives.

    If you're not connected to your own WiFi connection, it may be the problem. The owner of the WiFi might have limited the amount of devices that can connect at one time. With your laptop connected, it may have taken the only free slot available through the WiFi.
