When is a new X-box released?

Who knows when XBOX 720 will be released?

  • I am thinking of buying xbox 360 but I have heard some rumors that xbox 720 will be released this year and I believe it would be better to buy the newest console because all the good games will be released for the newest console...I would be glad if anybody could tell me for sure when xbox 720 will be released...

    No information has been released yet, or even if it will be called the '720' In the past they have gone about 6 or 8 years between consoles, so I would say it would be at least a couple more before a new one comes out.

There are no release dates for the XBOX 720, and Microsoft always said that they were making a 10 year console. There are some rumors about the codename of it. I found this awesome article about that.

Microsoft usually releases consoles once very 10 years, so it might be 2013 before we see the Xbox 720 (if it will be called that)

Nobody can tell you for sure. Microsoft hasn't even officially announced it yet. Best guess right now is Fall 2013, but that's really just a guess. You definitely won't see it this year.
