Which game should I get for Xbox 360?

  • Well, my parents are getting me an Xbox 360 for Christmas, and I'm wondering what games to get. I can get two, but one of them is going to be the Orange Box (a package of games by Valve for a very good deal) It doesn't matter how old (being that I'm getting a game from 2007) or how much it is, so as long as it is for Xbox 360. The games I mostly like aren't the first person shooting games, I never really get into that, honestly. I love story/puzzle games, games like Portal and Portal 2. I still can stand war games, just not my favorite by all means. Any games you can think of you would recommend would be great! Love all types, any is fine!

    I understand you said you don't like First Person Shooters but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is probably one of the best games I've ever played in my life. Everyone loves it so you can play with your friends, and if you get good enough you could go win $1 Million Dollars at a tournament. It also kills time and if your not a hardcore gamer, you could play a quick 10-Minute match or so. So, right now grab a pen or pencil and write down MW3. I hope you enjoy it, no never mind I KNOW you're going to LOVE it. You'll never regret getting it.

Halo anniversary is awesome but it is a first person shooter.( any of the halo games are good but my favorites are anniversary or reach, great story line. Awesome online too) I would recommend downloading trials of games from xboxlive and play them. I found that to be the decision maker on games for me. I downloaded sonic as a trial for my nephew, and discovered I liked it more than he did. Lol

Spider man shattered dimensions is a fun game. Need for speed the run (u can get it for 30 now but it will jump back up to 50 soon) Need for speed carbon and most wanted both amazing games. Um. Final fanticy That's all I can really think of bc I just got min a few weeks ago hope it helps

Bioshock, awsome Duke Dukem Forever, Even better GTA San Andreas and GTA 4 My favorite free roming rpg Left 4 dead pretty good, would recomend Fallout New Vagas, great!

Singularity: I game that didnt get much hype but is an absolutely fantastic game, not as face paced as most first person shooters and has a steller story. My two favorite non-first person shooters are Deadspace (1 and 2) and the Assassin's creed games. Deadspace: is a psychological thriller which excells at story and making you jump every once in a while. One of the best emotion provoking games I have ever played. Its a third person shooter game. Assassin's creed is a role playing game. Steller story, easy-medium difficulty, and a very flowing game. The Batman games: Arkham Asylum and Arkham city are some very fun third person beat-um-up games. With a dark yet fun storyline, and easy-to-get-the-hang-of mechanics. Other games I would suggest are: The Fable games, Halo games, skyrim. If your looking for hardcore games then the gears of war series, call of duty series are a few shooters. Also Bayonetta, and the ninja gaiden games are some hardcore beat-um-ups Good puzzle games......besides portal......>_> you should also check the xbox live marketplace when you get your system, it will have a variety of interesting games to choose from

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is extremely in depth, addictive, challenging, competitive and most of all FUN! I'd definitely recommend this game to absolutely anyone who enjoys FPS! Sorry for the "novel" everyone. I usually don't write reviews this long and prefer to keep them short, explanatory and simple, but for this one in particular, there was just so much to cover.
