Habitrail OVO Tower for Roborovski Dwarf Hamster?

i have a Haitrail Ovo. It is really sturdy and escape proof. i LOVE it and so does my hamster! If you were getting the habitrail ove pad that is good for 1 hamster. if you are getting the Ovo Suite, (taller one) your hamster/hamsters might not be able climb straight up. My hamster couldnt. The Habitrail Ovos tubes can twist with force and you can make it go sideways( in other words put it down) so then the hamster can go into the blue travel thing. Also, if you don't understand the water bottle, it is supposed to drip so the hamster can drink. If you werent getting the Ovo Suite, then never mind. : )

The Habitrail OVO Tower is a really cool idea, but it doesn't work as well for dwarf hamsters (at least in my experience). It's not so much that the Tower is too tall, more that it's difficult for smaller hamsters to climb up it because of their size. I have a dwarf hamster and he can barely climb the tube in his cage (which is even thinner than the Habitrail tubes). Habitrails are often made with regular-size hamsters in mind. My friend has the OVO Tower and her old hamster, a Robo dwarf like yours, couldn't get up the tube, so she had to disconnect it then, but her current teddy bear hamster has no trouble with it. However, Habitrail does make an OVO Dwarf Hamster Habitat in the style of the "OVO Suite" with smaller tubes better suited for small hammies.
