How to convince my parents to let my little brothers get a hamster?

  • I have a hamster now, and it took me like 3 months to convince them! Well, my little brothers want one really bad! I take care of mine very well! If they got one, I would help them take care of it! We have a dog and my hamster. They just love Cookie (my hamster) but they want one in their room!! I have the money to buy another one! My parents wouldn't even mess with it money wise! How can I convince them that it would be good them? (They are 4 yrs old and twins) I know they are young but me (13) will help them out! (Cage cleaning, feeding/watering, playing, training, ect.)

    i gave my mom and dad a meeting and they let me get mine i told my mom and dad how they are easy to take care of and inexpensive.

They are too young, especially to have it in their room with unsupervised access. It would only be a matter of time before they lost it or hurt it. If you want a second hamster for yourself, which seems to actually be the case, you may have better luck convincing them. They already know you are able to care for a hamster. But if they say no, let it go.

Your twins are too young to have a pet. It doesn't matter if you help them take care of it. When you are not watching, they can torture the hamster! I agree with the above answer. If they say no, just take care of Cookie well and let your twins watch your hamster a bit and pet it. :) Good Luck!
