Why does my hamster keep falling asleep randomly?

How can i keep bedding from falling out of my hamster cage?

My hamster is getting bedding all ober my floor and i guess its not that big of a deal i just really dont want to have to worry about that..! Any ideas of what i can do to prevent this from happening? Thank you so much!!!! (:

    If your hamster feels that he has too much bedding in his cage or in his house, he'll move it. He may decide to push it thru the cage bars and then it falls on the floor. Try reducing the amount of bedding and see if he still gets it on the floor. Mine moves the soft bedding that is outside of his house and brings some of it inside and blocks a door with the bedding. They like the borrow or house to be warm. I use bedding that comes from the kopac tree in India. It looks and feels like white cotton candy fluff. The hamster love this stuff and you can buy it at walmart.

Take black tape and go all around it where the bedding is falling out. Then (if you can because i dont know if it's possible) you can take the tape and line it up the the tape you just put on, but on the inside, so it wouldn't be sticky. Hope I helped.

I don't put bedding in my hamsters tank topper, she doesn't need it up there in my opinion. I put a piece of cardboard over the floor though so she doesn't hurt her feet walking on the wires. Plus my room is always warm, so it works out!
