I've had 2 male winter white dwarf hamsters for almost a month they were in separate cages but online it said they could be introduced slowly so it was going fine until they began to fight I finally pulled them apart and one of them has a red wound on it's stomach it's not gushing blood or anything it just looks red and he keeps liking it. Is he gonna die?! any tips?! its too late at night to go to a vet

    Ok, calm down. First of all, the information you read online is totally false! They should have grown up together at the pet store, or been introduced as children, not later on in life! You need to keep them separated permanently, unless you want them dead.

first calm down, the way it sounds it's only a top layer wound. i highly doubt it'll die, take an put something like neosporn on it, juat watch it an if anything like puss starts coming out then time for a vet,

Don't worry, it sounds like a just a surface wound to me, and unless the wound gets infected, your hamster should be fine, and it will heal up and get better with time. If you can, you might want to get him checked at the vets now, but you should definitely take him to the vets if the wound gets infected, as your hamster will need some medicine to shift the infection. As for putting two male hamsters together, it's never a good idea unless they are introduced when they are very young, and even then they can still fight and cause each other damage. It's for the best to keep them in separate cages, and I'm sorry that this has happened in the first place, but thank goodness it's not too serious! Good luck xx
