A weird crusty dry bump on the back of a leg?

My hamster isnt using his back right leg, and a bump on his belly. HELP?

  • My Panda hamster is about a year old and I just noticed he was not using his right back leg, hes dragging it. I also just noticed, a big round bump, on his stomach (the side of him- bulging out) On the same side of his leg problem. Does anyone know what this is? Im guessing old age symptoms :(

    Seeing as he's only 1yr old, he shouldn't be doing things mentioned above because of aging. I am not sure what it is, but definitely take him to a vet, exotic one if possible (they have more understanding of guinea pigs than regular vets)

It's most likely is a tumor,and the tumor is putting pressure on a nerve and that is what could be making it diffecult to use his leg.But please dont worry just cause its a tumor does not mean it is a cancer it could be fatty tissue but I would still see vet immeditly. I hope everything goes ok

A hamster has a longer lifespan than a year, so old age isn't it. The only way you will find out is to take your pet to the vet. It sounds like either an injury or a tumor. Good luck.
