How do I know if my guinea pig is pregnant or not!?

• How do I know my female guinea pig is pregnant. I really need the symptoms. About three months ago I got Candy from Petco. The man there said she was a girl. Than about two months ago I got Jordin from Petco and they also said she was a girl. Well, this morning when I let Candy and Jordin out to play, Candy went to the food box( I just put their food in a box so it was easier to get to and I always open the lid for them to eat from it as much as they please) and ate for about ten minutes like she usually does while Jordin hid around the room. After about ten minutes Candy just went to the corner of the room and sat there for a long time( by the way in the corner of my room I have a pile of purses just lying there). When I checked up on her she didn't run away from me(that was her first time not running away). She kept on snuggling into my clothing. When I put Candy back into the cage she went straight for her igloo(that also was unusual. Jordin usually goes for the igloo but latley she hasnt been in there even though I have two igloos) I havent been able to correctly tell the sex of both animals and we currently dont have the money to go to the vet. So is Candy pregnant? And if so, what are the signs? I need to know so I can atleast be prepared for baby piggies ahead of time? THANKS SO MUCH!!

  she could be sick or pregnant. You will notice If she is pregnant she will get really big around the hip area. It is also their instinct to make a large nest for the babies. I you notice her making a nest DO NOT clean the nest out! Also don't handle the mom guinea pig because the babies can get crushed in the womb. Make sure that if your not sure about her that you go to a vet to make sure if she is or isn't. If Jordin is a male get him out of the cage because if she has the babies with him in there he would probably eat them. :( Hope this help!
