Mouse stuck on snap trap under stove?
-
We've been trying to catch this mouse for awhile .. and we finally did .. but we only caught it's leg. My dad waited too long to get up and the mouse managed to crawl away with the mouse trap on it's leg. As of right now, I think it's still under the stove but I'm not sure. My dad held up the stove, while my mom held a flashlight, and I tried to drag the mouse/trap out with a broomstick and put it onto the glue trap. We gave up because me and my mom were too scared to actually finish the job. How long should the mouse even last under there? Will it move? Or will it continue to run around the house with a trap stuck to it's leg?

Answer:
That's really cruel letting it suffer like that. Imagine something trapped on your leg about to cut it off. It will either bleed out or die of starvation or dehydration. Suck it up and let the poor thing outside!! Use a coat hanger to put it in a plastic bag and use gloves to remove the trap.
