Why are my boy and girl hamsters fighting?

My girl and boy dwarf hamsters were fighting belly to belly rolling around before I stopped them....?

• I know that hamsters get pregnant by the boy going on top of her butt but could she possibly get pregnant from them being so close belly to belly like that? It was two days ago and she doesn't appear to be getting fatter...

  You Wouldent Really Be able To See A Phyical Difference In Your Female Untill A Few days Before The pups Come. They could have been mating, fighting, or play fighting. Keep an eye out for bloody patches and fur loss due to fighting, if you see that on Ither hamster sperate them ASAP! If your Female hammy is pregnant She'll be having her babies in the next two weeks'ishhhh. So Just Keep an eye On her. And A few Days before the due date take your male out because she will try to mate with her again shortly after the babies are born, which could cause her a great deal of stress and she may eat her new litter.
