I cant get on facebook wth my phone?

Is your wireless router blocking the phone with security settings? Mine has a MAC address whitelist, and any piece of hardware whose MAC is not in the whitelist is denied a connection regardless of anything else. If your router is anything like mine, it will have two whitelists, one general and one just for wireless connections, and the phone would have to be in both. Is the phone configured to use DHCP or a static IP address? DHCP is probably the simplest thing to choose, but if it is a static IP, make sure it is within the subnet of your network but doesn't clash with the range used for DHCP allocations (see your router settings for details). Have you configured DNS correctly? On the phone, your DNS server settings for the wireless connection will either need to be your router's IP address (if your router operates a DNS cache, like most), the IP addresses of your ISP's DNS servers, or the IP addresses of some other DNS servers (e.g. Google Public DNS). Do you have to specifically tell the phone to use the wireless connection before it will connect, or is it automatic? Is there a setting for this?
