Why won't myyearbook let me add anyone?

Okay so my Friend discided to delete one of my friends on myyearbook and he's 19 and I'm 17 and it let me add him the first time I ever started talkin to him (he was 19 and i was 17 so the same age when this happened) then she deleted him idk why but I tried to add him back and it keeps saying "error you have already invited this person to be your friend" but were not friends and I didn't send any request to so idk why it's saying that cause if I did it wouldn't have add as a friend on his profile.. Help idk why it won't let me :c

beacuse at one point you probably tryed to add him and he never saw the request so your request is probably sitll pending with everyone elses he hasnt seen
