Facebook problem, help?

I can't open Facebook, Youtube, or myspace. My IPS doesn't know what the problem is. Please help. Thanks?

  • Even when I type in the numerical address for Facebook, Youtube, or Myspace I get a blank page, then when I refresh the page, I get an error that reads: Sorry, the page you were looking for could not be found. I am able to login at work, but not from home. My Internet provider, Frontier, can't figure out the problem. They had me flush my DNS cache, but to no avail. They also had me ping Facebook.com and it appears to ping my computer instead (127.0.0.1) However, when I ping the numerical address for Facebook, it pings correctly. I would appreciate any help, thanks, Nick

  • Answer:

Your ISP can't figure out the problem? Either: - your Antivirus software had blocked those sites, go to the addresses you can't access, and hit "Unblock" - you have a redirecting virus on your computer, eliminate it. - your ISP IS this problem, and change ISPs or - you're using a proxy and the proxy had blocked the sites, so change proxies it's most likely the first, since being able or not to go to a site is done by the AV software
