Need help uploading photos onto my website that I just made and dont know how to use?

Ok so i made myslef a website and the whole purpose for it is so that i can display my artwork for college. I want to be able to say here is my webiste, go check out my portfolio. So i need to get my pictures on the website and i can put in a flickr widget. So im assuming that is the only way to put on photos so i made a flcikr account. But then when i am trying to use my widget it says that this product uses the flickr API but is not endorsed or certified by flickr so what does that mean? can someone please help me I am very lost.

What's the address of your site? Typically, you would use an FTP program like Filezilla for this, but your Web Host is likely to have a utility for this also. http://filezilla-project.org/
