What is a really girly username?

What is that about (you have not set a username yet) on facebook under options ?

• In the options setting theres a thing thats says USERNAME: YOU HAVE NOT SET A USERNAME. Know what is this for? when i sign up with facebook i had to put my real name so on my profile it shows my first and last name on display on my profile....... If i create a username.. does this mean my actual real name wont display in my profile in large letters ? for example malissa smith is my name..... if i create new username like handsomeme does this means it will show handsomeme name on my profile rather then my name showing as malissa smith?

  no your name and username are 2 different things if you put a username that will the link to your profile name is who your are say your name is malissa smith but your user name is smith23 that now becomes www.facebook.com/smith23 you put that in the search bar you get taken straight to that profile
