How do i get into my friend's facebook without knowing his password?

My good friend passed away a couple months ago. He had over 1000 facebook friends and his facebook is still there and somehow hasn't been deleted yet. it bothers me whenever i see his name popping up here and there, especially when it appears at the top of my friend list. i would like to delete his account but i don't know his password, or even the email address associated with his account. i have looked everywhere but can't find any clues as to what the password might be. I was wondering if anybody could give me tips as what to do or if there are any ways to get into his facebook without knowing his password. Much thanks

if his family members haven't removed it yet, why should you? maybe its comforting to some people as a type of memorial

You shouldnt invaid his property. He probably got alot of messages about his past. Maybe you should leave it. Or ask his family.
Just leave it alone... there should be bigger things to worry about when your friend's dead than facebook account. You should feel bad for posting this on here.
