How do you block someone specifically from Facebook chat but not Facebook entirely?

Stop seeing chat messages from someone on Facebook who is NOT a friend and IS blocked?

Help please, I haven't been able to find ANYTHING on this and it's really frustrating. Note I'm NOT asking about how to prevent people I have added from seeing me on chat, nor how to block someone. I blocked certain people on Facebook who are NOT friends but while I can't see their profile or posts, due to common connections I am able to see any messages they send if they are in the same group chat with me. I want to be able to block them ENTIRELY and not be able to see anything they say in Facebook chats we may both happen to use. It's not any sort of violation thing that's reportable; it's just a people I don't really get along with type of thing. The best I can do is go offline if I notice they are in the chat but this of course can be annoying and inconvenient. Alternatively if there is no solution I'd like to somehow be able to point out this what I'd say is a MAJOR privacy/security flaw directly to someone at Facebook.

Actually therez nthin u can do abt it!! But ask this question in the fb Help Centre,so that the fb could do smthin abt it as for nw....u cant do anythin
