You can only block them from your profile. Or you can create a list and constantly have it set as your offline.

go to chat click on the options make a group --name anything you like add the person you want to block Put the status of that group as offline & Your problem is solved.............
You cant, and the option that is available now is to block him/her from your page
You can, you have to add them to a separate group and set the group to offline.
