Facebook business profile?

I want to keep my personal profile on facebook just for close friends, but I want a facebook profile for a professional basis. Should or could I create another profile for my business... a fan page or do I have to create a profile for my business.
Answer:

I would do both, just for security purposes. Because, if someone is a fan of your page, and your security settings are overlooked, they could find your information and do things that I won't go into great detail about, but they can do things...bad things!
