Can you set your default home to "status updates" instead of newsfeed?

when i log onto facebook, or click home, can i set it to default to the status updates, instead of the newsfeed which stinks

Yes, you can. Click the 'more' button at the bottom, and then drag 'status updates' to the top.

1. From the lefthand side of your Homepage, click on "More" 2. Place your mouse over the item that you'd like to make your 'default' settings 3. Click that item and drag it to the top of the list. Hope that works.
