How can I make a status available to only some people on Facebook?

  • So, to make a long story short, I'm friends with my 1st grade music teacher on Facebook. Ugh. She comments on basically ALL of my statuses, and then I get the questions, "Ur friends with Mrs.____ on Facebook?" and they think that I added HER as a friend, which I didn't and never would. It's really embarrasing and annoying, because I'm sort of a nerd, and people think that I DID add her on Facebook! Is it possible to make my statuses available to anyone but her? PS- I can't delete her, my mom used to work with her and is friends with her too, and she needed another Farmville neighbor so she added me. She'll know that I deleted her.

    On Facebook's home page where you add statuses, next to the button that says "Share," there is a icon that looks like a lock. Click that, then click customize, and there will be an option to only show certain groups, or to hide from specific people. This will hide specific posts from specific people. You can also go to your privacy settings, and change the default options for "Posts by me" to hide all status updates from certain people. You can also change the privacy settings for "can comment on my post," but this would not stop her from seeing your status, only from commenting on it, which might tip her off

there is this privacy settings http://www.facebook.com/#!/settings/?tab=privacy u click the custom > customize settings > scroll down until u see "can comment on post" > click it then click "customize" > then on the "hide this from" box simply type the name of the person ex : X Hide this from : calvaryxxx ( u can just type the name then the name pops out so u can just simply click her ) then press "home" and there u go :D no more anoying music teacher , LOL

you can't do to much but you can pick which friends can see your status by looking at some of the options
