I want to close and delete my account at facebook can I do that and how, i am new at computers?

yes, go to account in the upper right corner, scroll down to account settings, and in account settings there will be a deactivate account click that and follow instructions. p.s. I made it sound a lot more complicated than it is...sorry

You can only deactivate an account

Check out this website it will tell you how to deactivate and then permantley delete your facebook account.

Click on account at the top right, then click account settings, at the bottom of the list that comes on u can deactivate!
