How can I see the people I may know on myspace?

People say MySpace is full of drama, but have people checked Facebook?

  • I don't get it. People are always complaining about how MySpace is full of drama and all, but have people taken the time to check Facebook? I mean, atleast on MySpace you have the ability to hide things you don't want people to see, but you can't do this on Facebook. And no offense to anyone who uses Facebook, but some of the people on there are really creepy. I've had people admitting to me that they have gone through my friends list. Creepy? I think so. Not only that, but it's so plain & strict. I never had problems like these on MySpace. Lately, it's been messing up a lot. Can somebody please tell me what's up with this? I sure would like to know. What is it about Facebook that people like so much. I can't figure it out.

    I think people like the simplicity because it's easy to put what you want out there without knowing any html or sites for customization like myspace needs. I liked myspace better because of the customization but everyone has moved to Facebook...I use neither.

If you go carefully through your settings on Facebook you will find ways to hide your comments and your friends list. Go to your friends list and click the pencil. That right there will hide your friends list from others. Facebook is a little complicated when it comes to privacy. I don't think they have their act together just yet but they keep on working on it. Myspace is old news. The graphics are slow and that can be a pain. I think you have less of a chance of getting a virus on FB too since there are no crazy graphics to load everytime you want to view someone's page.

i have tried and tried to get in the whole facebook funk lol, and i just dont like it. its boring. facebook is soooo easily hacked to. lol if you know how to create HTML you can get into anyones facebook lol. and NO i dont do this.

I have experienced more drama on Facebook as opposed to MySpace. I will say this: If you were in a relationship of any kind, and made it official on FB, then that's when you know FB drama is about to happen. That is, you're FB friends are immature. I had a previous relationship with my then boyfriend and we made it official on FB. Later after a while, I broke up with him, in PERSON and said I can't be with him anymore...I later cancelled the relationship online. A couple hours later he made a status update that stated, "My girlfriend broke up with me on FB" And all his friends went up yapping at me about what a B**** I was. It wasn't true. That's just part of my drama. Though, a majority of my social drama that I face originated on FB. It's SOO ridiculous! I mean, I don't want to face drama on FB...I'm really NOT immature, but how can I avoid it if people who were on my "friends" list caused it all? * * You can actually customize privacy settings on FB..down to each INDIVIDUAL person who can view your profile. It's very precise, and I like it. The main reason why I use FB is because it has a more clean look to it....also because nearly everyone I know uses FB. I can't use MySpace because all my friends there have neglected the site....and I can't use a social networking site if there's no one to network with, right? I hoped my input was good enough for you :)
