What happens if u decide to "delete" a friend off ur facebook friends list?

Would past wall posts from that friend be deleted? Would that friend's past comments of wall posts be deleted? Would private messages and chat conversations with that friend be deleted?

Nothing would happen to them if you delete a friend. But if you block that person the above will happen.

Nope, I'm pretty sure all of the above stay safely on your facebook account. Messages, wall posts ec. are not deleted when you delete the person off your facebook.
why do you want to delete a friend? Are you buing bullied? Why not erase all of his/her post and comments in your wall then block him/her from posting in your wall or commenting in a picture and sending messages, etc.
