Is there any way to find who deleted you on facebook?

Is there a way to find out who this fake facebook account is?

  • Hey A fake facebook account added loads of people in my area (college and stuff). And is saying that he is going to slit our throats. And is basically threatening to kill us. I told the police but they dont care, they just told me to tell facebook and they will delete the account. But i dont want it deleted, i want to know who it is! Is there any way to find out? Or is it completely impossible? cheers

    Saidly the justice system sometimes just dont help everyone. I would copy the email, messages, IM'S anything about that account. Threatening to kill someone is not a joke. The reason why the cops cant do must is because the person said it over the internet, They have no proof who it was let alone if he wrote it. So there is not much they can go on. Copy and print the messages and save them if something happens you have proof. As far as finding them you probably wont be able to, Contact Facebook to report the account they will delete them.

Impossible. Even if facebook or the police managed to work it out they are not going to tell you. Report the account to facebook and block it from your facebook.

Yes, what that person is doing is illegal. You need to contact the police and they will issue a warrant to Facebook. Facebook is very good at working with the police and can tell who almost anyone is at any time. Chances are, between the two, they will catch that person in no time.
