How to send Push Notifications from iPhone?

Facebook push notifications for iPhone..?

• I have an iPhone from Verizon wireless. I used to recieve push notifications (notification directly from the app. even when not in use) whenever I received any sort of message, comment or upcoming event.. I updated to the newest version of Facebook and now no longer recieve those notifications. I've gone through the notification section on Facebook and can only seem to find the option to recieve emails and text messages to alert me of notifications now, not notifications directly from Facebook. I have gone to the settings on my phone and to my Facebook app settings and I still have the push notifications enabled, yet I am recieving nothing. Does anyone know what the problem may be or whether the updated version of Facebook no longer offers the feature? It is a huge convenience for me in terms of getting ahold of people whom do not have phones to text or call having their messages show up to me as texts normally do when I am not online!!

  Where as I know that the Facebook application have not this feature in it right now. That feature will include after some time but for now it is not include. The solution is that you may go back to the older version of the application so then you may got the mail and massages. Thanks :)
