Can you unblock someone on Facebook?

If I block someone on facebook can I later unblock them?

  • I mean right now they are added as my "friend" as I was wondering if I don't delete them, and block them for a while, if i unblock them later are they automatically going to be on my friends list or will i have to send a request? thank you.

    Yes, you can. If you were friends before the blocking, this connection will not be restored unless a new friend request is accepted. Also keep in mind that, during the next 48 hours after you unblock someone, you will not be able to block this person again.

follow given below steps to unblock some one.. 1. Sign in to Facebook. Make sure you are on your news feed page. 2. First look through your news feed to make sure the person or the application you want to unblock wasn't actually there. They may not have had a lot of posts lately or were just hidden amongst your other posts. 3. If the person or application is definitely not showing up in your newsfeed then scroll to the very bottom of your Facebook page. 4. At the bottom of your Facebook news feed you will see a light blue bar that says Older Posts with an arrow pointing down and to the right it will say Edit Options. Click on Edit Options. 5. You will get a pop up that shows you who is hidden from your news feed. The first page will show you friends that are blocked and then there is a tab at the top that says Applications. Click on that to see which applications you have blocked. 6. When you have someone blocked from your news feed it does not mean they are no longer your friend, they are. They can still see what you are posting and are still your friend, you just cannot see what they are posting on Facebook. 7. Find the person you have blocked and click Add To News Feed. This will bring them back to your news feed so you can see their updates. 8. If you want a friend to show up in your news feed but hate seeing all of their application updates, you can hide that particular application by clicking Hide next to their post, then selecting hide ******* (application) instead of hide ***** (their name). yes you can put please note once you unblock them you have to wait 48 hours to reblock them to do that go to privacy settings than go to application/block list find the name and hit the x button

Unfriend them and block them.... Later after some days, you can unblock them and they will not be your friends... If you block them without UNfriending them than they will again be your friends after you unblock them....
