Am I able to sync my facebook contacts with my phone contacts?

I couldn't sync my contacts from my old phone at the verizon store. I don't want to start all over on my contacts again so I think it would be easier to just get the contacts off of facebook. I have android 2.1 if that matters.

an easier way to do that is to actually get the facebook application on ur phone and ur contacts from facebook should automatically be on ur phone.
