How to block profile pictures on facebook from showing?

How do you block profile pictures from facebook?

• if not the one that is up currently then at least all the others? there must be a way because sometimes when you click on people's profile pictures it doesnt let you go on all the pics, nothing happens and yes these people are my friends

  You are absolutely right. You can do this. Go to Account and click on "privacy settings". once you are there it will give you a list of different privacy setting catagories (connecting on facebook, sharing on facebook, apps and websites, block lists, etc.) You want to get to the setting called sharing on facebook. just underneath that category is a blue highlighted option saying: customize settings. click on this. The first category on this topic will be: "things I share". In that category at the bottom it will say Edit privacy settings for existing photo albums and videos. Click on that. From there it gives you a list of all your photo albums including your profile picture album and security options under all of them. so now that you have found the profile pic album security setting, click on it and choose "customize"...then choose make this visible to: "only me" (or if you'd rather make it visible to some and not others you can choose make this visible to friends only but hide this from _______.)
