How to save captured digital video as individual clips?

Can I save a video from Facebook from a group that I'm in & edit the video so I only take some clips I want?

  • 5 min. long video, on facebook in a group that I am a member of, and I want to 'save' the video and edit it, can I do that? (like photos, you save from facebook and you can edit it how you want and cut it etc.
