Facebook disabled my account for having a fake name. How can I get it back?

I use my nickname as my first name, because almost nobody calls by my first name. But facebook disabled my account without even giving me a warning. I submitted my first and last name and emailed them a week ago. but they still hasnt contacted me back. How can I get my account back?? I really need to use it.. :(

I believe that your account has to, be suspended for a length of time.
