How can Myspace beat Facebook?
-
Okay, before all you facebook lovers and myspace haters start jumping out and making insults, hear me out first. When I was 11 years old I first used facebook and myspace. I always found myspace better than facebook, but I chose facebook over myspace because more of my friends have facebook. But recently I made a new myspace account and I like it WAAAAY more than Facebook. I hate facebook and I always will hate it! But I don't want to use an extinct website. Recently I have heard that facebook has 600,000,000 users and myspace only has 66,000,000. Is there anyway that Myspace can bounce back and compete against facebook in the future? Please give me your thoughts. Thanks :)

MySpace should focus on music and art, and support programs related to furthering both -- launching unknown bands, virtual art galleries for artists, clubs, and so on. It should accept that the number of users may be less than Facebook, but the usage would be different. Where Facebook focuses on keeping in touch with your friends and what they're doing, MySpace focuses on helping youth, artists and musicians express themselves and the artist within. If Facebook shuts down that's the ONLY WAY MySpace can bounce back
facebooks layed out better. myspace? some people cant use. facebook is ALOT easier. myspace will never beat facebook.
MySpace is going the way of Friendster. It will never bounce back. If they know what's good for them, within the next two years they will become a network dedicated to musical artist promotion, since they have excellent tools for music. They basically threw in the towel long ago when they wanted Facebook to buy them out, and they laid off about half their staff around the New Year. Facebook has always been superior in terms of social networking, but not in terms of a place to find bands.
